UV LED Curing Systems

LED systems offer vastly improved lifetimes, reduced maintenance costs, significant energy savings, and with no ozone emissions or mercury content, offer a more sustainable solution. In addition, the cold cure offered is ideal for heat-sensitive substrates. COBRA Cure FX2 offers all of these advantages as well as unique features designed to ensure an even cure, every time.

Built in-house with Chip-on-Board LED Technology

Built on the established COBRA platform, COBRA Cure FX2 is designed utilizing Chip-on-Board LED technology. ProPhotonix builds the light engine used to power the COBRA Cure FX series in-house enabling the maximum level of control of each LED to ensure powerful, uniform UV LED light. The platform also features a field replaceable window and a scalable design.

Field Replaceable Window

The COBRA Cure FX2 offers all of the benefits of an LED system and also incorporates a field replaceable window to ensure the system delivers consistent output. This innovative patent pending feature is easy to use, requires no special tools for window replacement, thus minimizing system downtime.

Superior Intensity Control

The design offers edge to edge illumination without any drop-in intensity at the edges. Due to the ability to monitor and drive each LED segment, the COBRA Cure FX2 offers excellent intensity control ensuring that uniformity and intensity is maintained across varying conditions and over the lifetime of the lamp.

Compactness

The FX2 is a compact, median power lamp that strikes the right balance between high intensity and dose and compactness making it ideal for multi-pass systems where weight may be a concern. All lamps can be fitted with filters to ensure a long lifetime.
