This ensures a solid, reliable cure. COBRA Cure FX1′ compact form factor, coupled with its innovative features, provide end users with excellent performance and easy maintenance.

Built in-house with Chip-on-Board LED Technology

Built on the established COBRA platform, COBRA Cure FX1 is designed utilizing Chip-on-Board LED technology. ProPhotonix build the light engine used to power the COBRA Cure FX series in-house enabling the maximum level of control of each LED ensuring optimum LED density to deliver powerful, uniform UV LED light. The COBRA Cure FX1 also features a field replaceable window and a scalable design for ease of maintenance.

Field Replaceable Window

Offering all the benefits of a UV LED system, COBRA Cure FX1’ innovative design reduces downtime by incorporating a field-replaceable window to ensure maximum performance throughout the lifetime of the lamp. This window can be easily replaced by non-technical personnel and does not require any special tools.

Optical Options

The lamps’ optical output can be specified to match your application requirements. Options include:

  • A collimated lens (< 10° divergence) typically utilized in pinning applications ensuring low risk of curing at the print head.
  • The D4 optical head produces median dose levels and curing profile (40° divergence).
  • The DW (Divergent Wide) optical head – the widest illumination angle (110° divergence) producing the highest intensity and dose levels.

Stackable Design

COBRA Cure FX1 features edge to edge illumination for a stackable UV LED Curing System with minimal drop in intensity and dose uniformity across the line. Multiple mounting options have been incorporated to enable a wide range of working distances. All lamps are IEC and EMC certified.
