New 10mW Green Laser Diode

Green Laser Diode

Since Osram introduced direct emission green laser diodes to its range, it has offered a competitive, compact alternative to traditional Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) laser diodes for a wide range of applications. With the PLT5 510, Osram now offers a competitive solution for low power applications. With the this low power green laser diode, Osram has provided laser diode users with a cost effective alternative to red low power laser diodes.

PLT5 510 Features

With an output power of 10mW at 515-530nm, this green laser diode addresses applications such as targeting, display, biomedical applications and metrology.

In addition to its compact TO56 package, the PLT5 510 incorporates a photodiode, offering improved reliability and stability of the output.

Applications

Users will now have the ability to achieve improved visibility to the human eye at equivalent power levels or reduce power consumption, compared with red lasers, in lower power applications.
