ProPhotonix has announced the latest COBRA Slim UV, a high-performance LED line light engineered to deliver high irradiance and uniform UVA output for demanding inspection applications.

Designed for applications where illumination intensity and uniformity directly affect inspection reliability, COBRA Slim UV improves the visibility of UV-reactive features in high-speed production environments.

Available in 365nm, 385nm, 395nm, and 405nm wavelengths, the configurable platform supports a wide range of ultraviolet inspection tasks in industrial production environments.

High Irradiance COBRA Slim UV for Reliable Inspection

In many UV inspection systems, insufficient illumination intensity or poor uniformity can reduce the visibility of residues, markings, coatings, and surface variations.

COBRA Slim UV combines high-density Chip-On-Board LED technology with uniform optical output to provide stable UVA illumination across the inspection width. Optional strobing functionality provides up to 4× peak intensity for applications requiring increased output or shorter exposure times.
