• My current stock certificate is in the StockerYale name. Do I need to get a new certificate with the ProPhotonix name?

    You do not need a new certificate. Your StockerYale certificate may be traded in the U.S. through your broker account. You may also trade your shares on the AIM, but you must follow the share transfer instructions. (See question 3)

  • How can I trade my shares?

    ProPhotonix Limited common shares trade in the U.S. under the STKR symbol on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (Pink Sheets) and under the PPIX symbol on the AIM listing of the London Stock Exchange. ProPhotonix Limited Reg S shares trade under the PPIR symbol on the AIM Listing of the London Stock Exchange.

    On AIM we have both “unrestricted” and “Regulation S/ restricted” shares listed. Trades in unrestricted shares settle electronically in CREST as Depositary Interests “DIs”, while Regulation S “Reg S” trades settle in certificated form to comply with Reg S requirements. Please note that Reg S shares are not listed/traded in the U.S. It is possible to move unrestricted shares between the two markets via Computershare, our global registrar. It is recommended that you speak to your broker or other financial advisor before trading in any stock.

    Shares that are restricted have a “Legend” indicating a trading restriction.     ProPhotonix does not monitor the Internet message boards. Most of the information on the message boards is material of a second-hand, or speculative in nature.
